FAQ

What Is the Difference Between Accelerated and Non-Accelerated Benefits
  • Accelerated cover is likely to be substantially cheaper than standalone cover, but you need to understand When you claim for One Benefit your Whole Cover will Decrease.
  • Non-Accelerated/Stand Alone Cover

If you claim on stand-alone disability or dread disease cover, your life cover remains intact and will pay out in full if you subsequently die.

Simple Interest vs Compound Interest
  • Simple interest is calculated on the principal, or original, amount of an Investment or Loan.
  • Compound interest is calculated on the principal amount and the accumulated interest of previous periods, and thus can be regarded as “interest on interest.”
What is Short-Term insurance?

Short-term insurance refers to a policy you hold with an insurer that covers various types of insurance, excluding life insurance (which falls under long-term insurance). These policies are effective for a limited period and provide coverage for areas such as:

  • Car Insurance: Protects your vehicle against accidents, theft, and other damages.
  • Business Insurance: Covers risks associated with running a business, including liability and property damage.
  • Home Contents Insurance: Insures your belongings against theft, fire, and other specified risks.
  • Travel Insurance: Provides coverage for medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and lost luggage while traveling.
  • Pet Insurance: Covers veterinary expenses and other costs related to your pet's health.

Short-term insurance offers flexibility and is tailored to meet immediate needs without the long-term commitment typical of life insurance policies.
